The hotel had some drawbacks like outdated and smelly rooms that seemed to have been overlooked in terms of cleanliness. The Magnolia cafe was not up to par, with overpriced, poor-quality food and service. However, the service was efficient and accommodating, especially with Jeremiah at the front desk being incredibly helpful, although there were some instances of staff having an attitude. The location was convenient for exploring downtown Louisville but was going through renovations, which affected the overall experience. The dining options were limited and overpriced, not meeting expectations.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the one hand, the rooms facing the parking garage were dirty, but I was pleasantly surprised by the great view of the Ohio River and downtown Louisville. The service had its challenges with construction and indifferent staff, but the dining experience was very good. The location was convenient for my needs, although there were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom.
